Amgen Global Recruitment Marketing and Employment Branding Lead in Thousand Oaks, California

The Global Recruitment Marketing and Employment Branding Lead will report directly to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition. The creative branding expert will be responsible for development of global Employee Value Proposition, talent branding and recruitment marketing initiatives and materials and managing key projects, vendors and long term technology roadmap in this area. In addition the Global Lead will drive innovation in this field by keeping an eye on upcoming trends, tools and tapping innovative solutions across the globe to stay ahead. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing, developing and delivering recruitment marketing strategies and initiatives, leading talent digital marketing and social media strategy and execution, improving Amgen employer brand, and delivering Amgen's Employee Value Proposition to the marketplace.


Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree


Master's degree and 2 years of Marketing or Human Resources experience


Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Marketing or Human Resources experience


Associate's degree and 10 years of Marketing or Human Resources experience


High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing or Human Resources experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Demonstrated ability to deliver targeted recruitment marketing, social media and Employee Value Proposition building strategies

Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and organizational change is critical for success in this position

Ability to navigate cultural differences, build global but locally relevant solutions

Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to manage diverse, cross-functional teams across time zones

Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills

Ability to understand, balance, and articulate both tactical and strategic planning issues

Strong quantitative, analytical (technical and business), and problem solving skills

Persistent, tactful, and persuasive team and project leadership, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills

Ability to prioritize across multiple projects and handle diverse assignments simultaneously
