Amgen Global Marketing Senior Manager, Oncology - Kyprolis in Thousand Oaks, California
As the Global Marketing Senior Manager, you will be responsible for executing against the Global Product Strategic imperatives, plans and tactics for Kyprolis. Specific areas of responsibility include leading or participating in the appropriate market research and generating insights to support development of promotional messaging and mapping the message evolution to support the brand vision and strategic imperatives.
The role will report to and assist the Executive Director, and liaise and lead efforts with Regions, Archetype countries and other country affiliates, and will engage Regions, country leads and cross-functional global teams to plan, develop, and drive launch plans and tactics. This will be accomplished by gaining a solid understanding of the therapeutic area, customer needs, and market research.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead the development, in collaboration with Regions and Archetype countries, of the Global Brand Platform and Campaign materials and drive implementation aligned with Global Strategy
Participate in the development of the global digital strategy
Partner with the marketing leads of Regions and Archetype countries to provide global perspective on pull through plan for specific marketing campaigns
Leverage market research data to generate insights, identify strategic opportunities and contribute to the development of Kyprolis Global Commercial Plan and tactics
Oversee third party agency partners to develop materials, track, and overall manage project budgets
Participate and contribute towards the global commercial efforts and business plan
Assist the Global Marketing Executive Director or Director with select Life Cycle Management (LCM) activities and other ongoing projects
Support Regions and countries as needed
10% travel (domestic & international)
Doctorate degree and 2 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 1 year of Marketing experience
Master's degree and 4 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 2 years of Marketing experience
Bachelor's degree and 6 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 3 years of Marketing experience
Associate's degree and 10 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 5 years of Marketing experience
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Marketing and/or Sales including 6 years of Marketing experience
6+ years of marketing experience in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry, with strong experience in
successful product launches in oncology or hematology
Oncology or hematology experience, particularly with multiple myeloma (sales, marketing and/or payer experience)
Demonstrated ability to work with agency partners to develop impactful messaging that is based on market insights
Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work and influence effectively within a matrix structure
Excellent written, analytical and verbal communication skills
Strong business judgment and emotional intelligence
