Amgen Training and Development Senior Associate in Tampa, Florida
Amgen is searching for a Training and Development Senior Associate who will report to the Training and Development Senior Manager and will be based in Tampa, FL, at Amgen's new Capability Center. The Training and Development Senior Associate works with clients in the Information Systems and Finance functions, internal regulatory advisory teams and the learning community to evaluate and manage training to meet regulatory requirements and support training needs based on the strategic direction of the company. This individual manages the training assignment process for Information Systems and Finance staff in coordination with supporting services and in collaboration with other functional Learning and Performance Managers. This role promotes clear training requirements to enable management-staff accountability and appropriate inclusion in learning solutions impacting staff.
The selected candidate will work under the direction of Global Learning and Performance management and be responsible for ensuring training assignments are executed on-time per plan, working closely with Amgen's Regulatory groups, document and role owners and Global Learning Services to help translate requirements to training assignments and managing the assignment governance process. This individual will address training compliance issues, support root-cause investigations and provide reporting and metrics to functional leadership and Global Learning and Performance management.
This individual will liaise with Global Learning & Performance Managers and Global Learning Services to apply appropriate models, methods and techniques for learning and work with clients to manage curricula, assignments and training material integration with Amgen's learning management system. This person may also conduct needs analysis, design, source and implement curricula, provide content review, evaluate learning and support budget planning.
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of training and development experience in a regulated industry
Associate's degree and 6 years of training and development experience in a regulated industry
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of training and development experience in a regulated industry
Experience supporting training requirements for GxP regulations
Experience in coordinating and executing multiple learning solutions
Experience in analyzing and preparing data for decision-making
Experience in supporting non-conformance / root-cause investigations
Experience in training and staff development
Experience working within the biotechnology and/or pharmaceutical industry
Solid presentation and facilitation skills
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work well in teams and collaborate
Ability to interface cross-functionally in a dynamic, matrixed environment
