Amgen Senior Associate Information Systems Analyst in Tampa, Florida
Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Information Systems (IS) Analyst to join the Partner Services team and serve as a liaison between the various technical communities to setup and support solutions for partners. The IS Analyst assists the Retail IS Service team with implementing the architected solution and works with the direction of the client facing IS or Partner Services Specialist to enable a partner to consume an Amgen solution.
The primary responsibility of the Sr Associate IS Analyst is to facilitate the activities between the build, run and third party groups that support the partnership. Activities may involve several IS wholesale services from connectivity solutions (e.g. VDI, VPN etc.) to business tools (SFTP, secure email, SharePoint etc.). Other setup activities may involve security risk assessment, contractual obligations and business support for the partnership (training, CMDB and on-going communication plans). The Sr Associate Analyst must coordinate the technical actions required for the development and operations of the partnership solution.
The Senior Associate IS Analyst will report to the Principal IS Architect based out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. At Amgen, our mission is simple: to serve patients. Partner Services facilitates the interaction between IS client facing (ISCF) retail services and wholesale IS services to provide Amgen's business partners access to data and applications. Partner Services' objective is to work with the ISCF to architect a solution that meets the partner's needs. The architected solution requires coordination between legal, security and technical groups. As needed, Partner Services facilitates the cross functional lifecycle of the partner's relationship; change management, issue escalation and decommissioning solutions.
Key Activities for Sr Associate IS Analyst include:
Perform testing of solutions with Partners and work with IS services to resolve issues
Configuration Management DatabaseSetup of partner configuration items
Work with Business owner and service owner to maintain CMDB
Audit Amgen Configuration Items (CI) that support Partners. The audits will confirm accuracy of related CI's and correct connection information
Review communications regarding planned downtime and changes that are sent to the partnerSend quarterly communications of status to partners
Send communications to partners as dictated by business or circumstances
Address training and on-boarding issues resulting from changes or new solutions
Support external business partner engagements and service enablement efforts within the IS organizationFocus on collaboration, connectivity, escalations, outages and service access enablement
Interact and report progress to senior business and IS leadership
Travel: Domestic travel up to 5% may be essential
Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience
High school diploma/GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience
Ability to understand business functionality and collaborate with cross-functional groups to identify a solution from available Amgen IS services
Experience working in regulated environments and understand the processes to deliver solutions with agility and maintain compliance requirements
5+ years' experience supporting enterprise scale applications
History of analytical and troubleshooting skills
Experience with System Development Life Cycle processes
Biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
