Amgen Senior Associate Information System Analyst - Device Lifecycle Management in Tampa, Florida
Amgen is seeking a Senior Associate Information Systems (IS) Analyst to join Deskside Services team and will provide Device Lifecycle management to staff in US region.
The Senior Associate IS Analyst will report to the Senior Manager, Information Systems based out of Amgen's Capability Center in Tampa, FL. At Amgen, our mission is simple: to serve patients. This state-of-the-art center serves as a base for finance, information systems, and human resources professionals to make a meaningful impact at one of the world's leading biotechnology companies.
Deskside services group provides both onsite and remote support for all end user devices (laptops, desktops and mobile devices) including procurement and provisioning of devices to user and managing the device lifecycle
Key Activities for Senior Associate IS Analyst include:
Device procurement forecasting, planning and implementation for Devices and Peripherals Lifecycles.
Work closely with Vendor Management Office on Device count reconciliation and validations for Service Provider billing for Device Services and Device Lease costs.
Planned periodic management of Device inventory & asset management logistics, including working closely with Service providers for those devices
Coordinating tracking and forecasting Device (Laptops, Desktops, mobile devices and peripherals) needs with vendor/suppliers. Develop and implement monthly reporting structure and Device stock/inventories including usage, trending, process and policy gaps, current, forecasted and total spend
Work with Vendor/MSP to investigate and implement transformational process improvements around hardware standards and updating catalogs in Ariba and other necessary Amgen and Vendor systems. Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) and Operational Level Agreement (OLA) compliance.
Provide technical and non-technical customer focused IT support, develop and maintains relationships within the business, at all levels. Serve as a point of escalation for all incidents, assuring timely attention and resolution is provided for all Device replacement issues
Work in a virtual global team environment to provide seamless experiences for traveling executives by collaborating with clients to determine and understand business requirements. Perform in depth analysis and provide suggestions based on the business requests
Bachelor's degree and 2 years of Information Systems experience
Associate's degree and 6 years of Information Systems experience
High school diploma / GED and 8 years of Information Systems experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Life Sciences
4+ years of formal technical support, help desk or customer success management experience for a technology company
Understand client needs and expectations, translate into service model, identify gaps and remediate or educate
Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and writing skills with ability to understand customer needs
Enthusiastic about technology with demonstrated technical aptitude
Passionate about customer service and how it can transform businesses
Excellent project management skills and ability to multitask with ease
