Amgen SAP Change Manager in Tampa, Florida

The SAP Change Manager will be based at Amgen Capability Center in Tampa, Florida. The Change Manager will be responsible for remaining current with and enforcing best business practices in the support, maintenance, and expansion of Amgen's ERP/SAP Platform. This role will be the liaison between the ERP Platform team, Quality Assurance and IS Service Management. The Change Manager will manage and execute operations strategies across Support (Run) and Projects (Build). He/She will actively participate and lead cross-functional teams with a strong focus on quality and delivery in adherence to Amgen's standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive the implementation of industry best practices (ITIL) to Amgen's change processes for the ERP Platform for both Run and Build

Collaborate with various process owners to develop, improve and implement standards, procedures and guidelines

Mentor and educate internal and external resources on the change processes

Drive alignment across the management of the CMDB to ensure a holistic view across the ERP system (technical and functional)

Educate and train staff (internal and external) on the use and value of CMDB to improve efficiency and accuracy of information

Ensure broad visibility of any system changes across the ERP Platform Team and all stakeholders

Provide support in internal and external audits and reviews

Identify trends through reporting

Drive improvement of change impact assessment process

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree & 3 years of directly related experience

OR

Bachelor's degree & 5 years of directly related experience

OR

Associate's degree & 10 years of directly related experience

OR

High school diploma / GED & 12 years of directly related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Proficient in SAP product architecture and SAP modules

5 or more years of experience providing ERP system support

5 or more years of project management experience

ITIL certified

Proficient with multiple modules of Service Now

Understanding of the overall SAP enterprise system landscape and transport management

Knowledge and experience in working with SAP systems in a validated (GxP) environment

Experience providing leadership and oversight to global teams

Excellent interpersonal, written and team collaboration skills

Ability to influence stakeholders within and outside of the ERP Platform team

Demonstrated ability to utilize six sigma and/or lean tools to lead change initiatives resulting in process improvements for excellence in operational performance
