Amgen Regulatory Reporting Manager in Tampa, Florida

This role will be part of Amgen's Procure to Pay team within Global Business Services. The Regulatory Reporting Manager is responsible for Accounts Payable Regulatory Tax Reporting. This position supports the North America region, which comprises U.S., Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

Periodic review and assessment of withholding from payments made to third-party suppliers to ensure compliance with various regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with IS team to resolve issues with SAP reports and implement enhancement to drive process efficiencies.

Assist in resolving issues with vendor master data quality impacting withholding and reporting set-up

Execute the Unclaimed Property process. Perform due diligence reports and timely filing of reports to various states.

Execute tax levy notices

Validate tax forms for completeness and accuracy and work with third-party suppliers for corrections

Collaborate with cross-functional teams for projects, and perform annual updates to Regulatory Tax Reporting policies

Assist in associated accounts reconciliation

Assist in the day-to-day inquiries related to withholding and reporting

Provide project management support as necessary

Basic Qualifications:

Doctorate degree

OR

Master's degree and 2 years of Finance experience

OR

Bachelor's degree and 4 years of Finance experience

OR

Associate's degree and 10 years of Finance experience

OR

High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with concentration in Accounting or Finance

2 or more years finance and regulatory experience

Advanced Excel or Microsoft Office Experience

Strong quantitative and analytical skills including familiarity with finance and accounting terms

Strong written and oral communication skills

Ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally in an organization

Detailed oriented and highly motivated

Proven ability to work effectively in in ambiguous situations and team environment

Ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently under time
