As a Specialist IS Business Systems Analyst at Amgen, you will support the analysis, design, and implementation of information systems solutions to meet business requirements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document system requirements, perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and provide end-user support. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong technical acumen will contribute to the successful delivery of IT projects and the continuous improvement of business processes.
Responsibilities Include
System owner forkeymanufacturingsystems within the Amgen Ohio (AOH) Enterprise ArtificialIntelligence (AI) and Operations Digital Technology and Innovation (Ops DTI) portfolio.
Ownthe ongoing creation and roadmap forkeymanufacturingsystems for Amgen Ohio
Collaboratewithbusinesspartners and other technology professionals to develop, deploy, and maintain the latest, advanced technologies in support of product manufacturing optimization.
Collaborate with the rest of the manufacturing network to incorporate lessonslearned and share ongoing bestpractices.
Manage and/or support the execution of a varied portfolio of IS projects with appropriateportfolioplanning, resource and risk management and financial management for the portfolio.
Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to ensure that the applications are aligned with standard city planning approved architectural and development guidelines.
Lead selected efforts to design,build, and develop rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) automated solutions and services. Quickly and iteratively prove or disprove the concepts being considered.
Collaboratewithbusinesspartners to understand how automation can improve workflow and productivity.
Synthesize requirements from end-users, application architects, and cybersecurity experts to develop the best automation solutions.
Work in projects including expansions and upgrade activities, providing day to day technical support to the project team in all project phases (design, delivery, startup, commissioning, validation and operational support).
Support projects businesscases for their scope of works, cost estimation and project tasks duration.
Support the introduction and the implementation of newtechnologies to Amgen Enterprise AI and Ops DTI portfolio.
Act as client interface, point of escalation and resolve client concerns.
Effectively managerelationships with IS service owners, business partners, enterprise IS service partners, and vendors.
Communicates with multiple levels within the organization, highlighting issues and proposing solutions.

Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree
OR
Master’s degree and 3 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
Or
Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
Or
Associate’s degree and 10 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
Or
High school diploma / GED and 12 years of Information Systems and/or Business Analysis and/or Project Management experience
Preferred Qualifications:
BS or MS in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
Designing, developing, deploying, and operating automated solutions across SaaS, Cloud, On-prem and custom software developed platforms.
Experience with severalIndustry 4.0 technologies is a plus!
Knowledge on methods and technologies to support Manufacturing Data integrations (e.g. SQL, Web Services/messaging, data mapping)
Dataanalysisandreportingexperiencebyusinganalytics,visualizationanddatabasetechnologies(OSISoftPIRtReports,Spotfire,Tableau)
Full stack development including infrastructure cloud services (Storage, VMs, Network, etc.) as well as application and user experience.
Industry experience with software development of keymanufacturingsystems such as Siemens Desigo and SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) applications that support manufacturing, preferably biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or related industry.
Dataanalysisandreportingexperiencebyusinganalytics,visualizationanddatabasetechnologies(OSISoftPIRtReports,Spotfire,Tableau)
Hands-on experience with computerized systems including troubleshooting, reliability, and performance improvements.
Expertise with translating business requirements/user stories to technical requirements and recommend solutions for automation.
Experience in supporting keymanufacturingsystems with 24x7 operations individually and with vendors.
Experience or solidgrasp of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), 21CFR Part 11 regulations, change control, validation.
Experience with Agile Product Development delivery and SAFe practices
