What you will do
Accountabilities
Coordination of Access, and HE strategies to gain Access for inline and pipeline products.
Facilitate collaboration for coverage and reimbursement decision-making.
Develop comprehensive dossiers for submissions.
Collaborate with global teams and vendors for model adaptation and development.
Build HEOR Tools (cost calculators) and Access tools (Value Story)
Conduct internal and external Health Economics (HE) trainings.
Deliver HE/Access presentations to customers to improve access.
Support Access strategy, including pricing considerations.
Publish Amgen portfolio publications.
Provide support to the medical and commercial teams in implementing Access strategy.
Contribute to regional activities in Health Economics and Access.
Responsibilities
Propose and implement the agreed local market access strategy during the life cycle of the product by working closely with Medical, Marketing & Sales to secure broad product access for Amgen new and existing product portfolio.
Develop cost-effectiveness models and budget impact analysis to support reimbursement dossiers for national and regional payers for the whole portfolio.
Develop and communicate value stories and tools for external and internal partners.
Develop and implement comprehensive business plans to address reimbursement and funding for Amgen portfolio, including oncology and rare diseases products.
Evaluate threats, opportunities and trends & implement important strategic planning processes considering the external environment and the effect of payer/health policy.
Lead development of strategic cross-functional engagement plans with external customers (payers and KOLs) and ensure partnerships.
Engage in negotiations with payers.
Develop local real-world evidence generation strategy to support patient access; support execution of cross functional real- world evidence initiatives
Support KAM team to ensure access and reimbursement though dossier elaboration.
Support commercial strategies and brand plan co creation.
Partner and process mapping for National Formulary submissions.
Ensure processes of compliance.
Authority
Access Strategy for National Formulary.
Customization of GVD to local Value Dossier.
Local HEOR/HTA study design and methodology
Health Economics tools, models.
Value and Access tools.
Health Economics strategy for Access purposes.
Basic Qualifications:
Doctorate degree and 2 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
Master’s degree and 4 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
Associate’s degree and 10 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company OR
High school diploma / GED 12 years of experience in similar positions at a biotech or pharmaceutical company.
Proficiency in English, both in written and verbal communication.
Preferred Requirements
Degree in Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology, Health Economics, Actuarial etc.)
Large experience working within the Mexican Health Care system ( including submission to National Formulary )
Prior experience (>5 years) in Health Economics (in another pharma company)
Technical skills and communicating sophisticated HEOR issues to non-experts.
Experience in HEOR, Pricing and Access projects.
