Amgen Southeast Asia Distributor Finance Officer - Part Time in Hong Kong, Hong Kong

Job Description

As a member of the Southeast Asia Finance Team, the Distributor Finance Officer is responsible for the financial management for our distributors across the Southeast Asia countries, which includes but not limited to their billings and payables, commercial agreement maintenance and general day-to-day activities.

Reporting to the Southeast Asia Finance Manager, the Distributor Finance Officer will be responsible for minimizing unbilled, unpaid and outstanding billings from the Distributors, as well as adherence to contract terms and conditions, IICC policies, Sox and statutory compliance for a portfolio of Distributors.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Distributor Financial Management

Manage Amgen distributors across the Southeast Asia Region, namely Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India and the Philippines

Act as the dedicated single point of contact for all aspects of distributor finance management

Have a complete understanding of distributor billing requirements and contract requirements.

Manage the Distributor credit note/debit note process

Maintain the most up-to-date statement of accounts incorporating both Amgen's billings and distributors' billings/credits

Work with JAPAC Treasury on Cash Receipt process

Compliance

Ensure compliance with IICC and policies across all accounts.

Coordinate with distributors on internal audit to achieve successful audit outcome.

Ensure distribution agreements are up to date

Be familiar with the distribution agreements and ensure the team is fully aware of key contractual terms.

Ensure any reconciliations, billing & settlements are adhered to in a timely manner.

Others

Timely and accurate response to requests from the Finance Manager and other business partners

Continually look to enhance current processes to provide greater efficiencies

Qualifications

Completed or in the final year of Bachelor's degree or diploma; concentration in Finance & Accounting preferred

Experience in distributor account management is an advantage

Strong quantitative skills, including analytical abilities and math proficiency

Demonstrate problem solving skills

Ability to work within a team, handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines

Extremely detail-oriented, with clear and proven organizational skills

Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Cantonese

Proficiency at Excel & Outlook

Eligible to work in Hong Kong

Contract role with potential for renewal
