Sr Maintenance Technician

What you will do

In this role, you will be a crucial part of our maintenance department, ensuring the availability of our semi- and fully automated packaging, labeling, and assembly machines within our state-of-the-art production facility. You will also support our warehousing and facilities operations. As an all-round technician, you will develop expertise in automated packaging equipment and utilize data analysis to identify improvement opportunities. Your contributions will directly impact the supply of life-saving medicines to our patients.

As a Maintenance Technician, you will:

  • Perform maintenance activities and analyses on a wide variety of machines, processes, and systems.

  • Collaborate closely with our manufacturing and quality teams to prioritize and find solutions for technical challenges.

  • Support projects involving the commissioning of new equipment, ensuring adherence to mechanical design specifications.

  • Provide technical training to shopfloor personnel.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and contribute to our preventive maintenance plan.

  • Work in 3 shifts, providing both corrective and preventive maintenance support.

What we expect of you

To thrive in this role, we expect you to bring the following qualifications:

  • MBO level of education, obtained through formal training and / or proven experience.

  • Experience in a maintenance environment.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic maintenance, with a willingness to further develop your skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in teams and communicate proficiently in English, with Dutch language skills preferred.

  • Interest in continuous improvement, Lean maintenance principles, and emerging technologies.

  • Curiosity about robotics and automation.

  • Preferably, a good understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or other regulated environments.
